Dear Bob and Charlotte,

It’s been 6 weeks since we got our doxies from you and they are wonderful dogs.  Our two boys have very different personalities, and we enjoy each of them very much.  Our little black and tan (Ishmael, or Ishy as we call him) is assertive, quick and loves being spoiled! (and his owner Luisa, our oldest daughter, provides this very readily!).  Sparky, our red, is gentle, a keen ‘hunter’, and the most loving dog you’d ever meet.  At only a couple months, he had easily learned to sit, stay, and come on command.  He is so eager to please, and loves to cuddle and kiss (I think Char’s feeding him by hand must have had something to do with it.)  The best thing is that, even though they are quite different, they enjoy each other immensely.  We have observed them running to check when the other is out of sight for too long, or when there is a little distress call.  Sparky can’t stand it when Ishy is frustrated about climbing the stairs (he’s still a bit too little for ours which are steep) and will go back down to try to ‘help’.  I would recommend that others consider getting two at a time.  It is well worth the bit of extra work early on.

We will be happy to recommend you to others interested in getting these great little dogs.  In fact, we have already!  Every quick walk around the block in Rochester brings people over who want to know all about them.  They are actually ideal for a city, and are happy to meet new people and their pets.  Thank you for raising such healthy, well-adjusted puppies! Your support in response to our questions in the first weeks was also an added service that makes us please to recommend you without reservation!  You may feel free to give our email address to others who would like a referral.

Sincerely,

Julie Fudge and Richard Barbano

Warm regards to you all!

Anne and Rosie (asleep in my lap with her head in the crook of my left arm).  She is the bestest!

Reference:

For three generations my family has always had dachshunds.  Although each has been special in his or her own way, I have to acknowledge that my wirehaired, Liberty Rose, from BC Sundance Kennel, has the sweetest disposition of any doxie yet.  She is healthy, alert, and affectionate.  Rosie loves children and other dogs.  She is something of a celebrity at our local parks and she is always welcomed in the homes of my friends.

I researched a few breeders but was most impressed by the down to earth and dedicated approach of Bob and Charlotte at BC Sundance Kennel.  It had been two years since my last doxie died and I had a few aprehensions about raising a new puppy.  Both before and after I brought Rosie home, Bob and Charlotte patiently addressed each concern.  I especially appreciated the many email photos that Bob sent me as Rosie grew and learned the ropes of becoming a good doxie.

Charlotte and Bob are wonderful people and a great resource when it comes to the health and habits of dachshunds.  Whenever anyone asks me about Rosie, I never hesitate to refer them to BC Sundance Kennel.

Dear Bob and Charlotte:
Bentley is everything you said he was and more. And is just perfect. He has stolen away everyone's heart. He has the sweetest personality we have ever seen. I will send pictures soon. I just want to thank you again for everything. Working with you has been a wonderful experience. Your updates and pictures on Bentley before we got him were just priceless. It's obvious you take great pride in your doxies.
Well, got to go...will be in touch.

Sincerely,
Barbara

Hello this is Samantha Codner and I am one of the owners of Copper. I love him so much I can not tell you. When I took him into town everybody died over him and could not believe how little he was. He has the cuttest face in the world and had the most adorable puppy face. He is very lovable and we love him very much. I think he is a little sad that we are off to school now, but we play with him when we get home. Well, I just wanted to keep you updated. OoO yeah Copper weighs 6 pounds I could not believe it. He's getting so big. When we got him he was 4 pounds. I will keep you updated on the cutest puppy in the whole entire world.

P.S.- All my friends want a doxie!!

Samantha Codner

Hi Guys-

I'm sorry to be just getting back to you now, but my Internet service was out for a bit-
Anyway, I am writing to tell you what a joy it is to have one of your doxies with us! We have chosen the name "Lilah" for this little girl. Lilah is a bright, energetic little girl with lots of love. She loves her new home here in Jersey, and Marie and I could not be happier with choosing you as a breeder...
Lilah is growing fast and learning new ways to endear herself to us everyday! She is very healthy and everyone who meets her tells us what a beautiful pup she is. I have even given out your info to a couple of different people so far, so maybe you will hear from them soon-
It was very nice meeting you and Charlotte that day. Its evident that you care deeply for your puppies. I was impressed how much Lilah loved Charlotte, if thats not a sign of a caring breeder, as well as a loving puppy, then I dont know what is. I hope you enjoyed meeting Marie and I as much as we enjoyed meeting you. Lilah is in very good hands, so you dont have to worry!
if you would like any letters of recommendation or anything, please let me know-

 Thanks again!

We just wanted to let you know how absolutely delighted we our with our little
guy! Henry is simply the sweetest thing I've ever seen: We bought a video
camera just to capture him frolicking in the yard. When we had him at the vet
last week, he weighed in at just over five pounds. He's been a dream when it
comes to housetraining; he's been accident-free for a while now. Michael says
I'm no help at all with training, but I can't help it; he looks at me with his
big doxie eyes and I offer him half of my sandwich. Henry has his own bed in
the living room, but since he's used to sleeping in our bed at night, he runs
into our room every time he's ready for a nap. Last week, Michael built a
little wooden staircase so that Henry can climb on and off the couch by
himself. Our yard is fenced, but if we leave him alone for more than a minute,
he gets bored and starts barking at the house to get us to come out and play.
He's such a good little puppy! We love spoiling him rotten; we have so many
treats and toys that the staff at PetCo knows us by sight. We just wanted you
to know how happy he makes us and how much we love him!

Sincerely,
Liz and Michael (and Henry!)

PS: If you still have them, we would love to see the photos from the day we
picked him up!

Bob and Charlotte,

Well, Trixie has had a busy day! It was very nice to meet George and
Charlotte today. Trixie slept most of the way home, though we stopped a
couple of times to stretch our legs. As soon as I got her home I walked
her and she did all her business outside! She's off to a good start. She
ate a small meal and we played for awhile before she took another nap. The
kids came over tonight and were absoultely delighted with her. We took a
couple of pictures and as soon as I upload them to my computer I'll send
them along. She's a happy, healthy pup and a delight to be around. I want
to thank you both for all the care you have given her and for the
correspondence that we've had. You've made this whole experience a
pleasure. Thanks again for everything and I'll keep you up to date on her
progress.
 Best Regards, Ira

Hi Bob.

I just thought I'd let you know that "Smooch's" official name is Charlie Smooch Granberg. Charlie has been doing great and gets along with everyone. He's healthy and happy. He's got a great temperament and he's a very fast learner. He only made two mistakes on the rug and we brought him over to the puppy pad and he learned to use the bathroom there in no time. Now whenever he has to go, he runs right over to the pad. That is the fastest I've ever seen a dog become house trained. You were right about his personality. He's just a little love bug. He's everything Samantha wanted and she's so happy. We're all so happy.

Today I will be taking plenty of pictures to send to you so expect them soon. The business I've conducted with you is top notch and you are the best breeder I've talked to. Like I said, feel free to use this email address as a reference. I'd be glad to let anyone know that your the breeder to go to for Doxies. I can't thank you enough for Charlie and for your help.

I'm gonna go play with him more now, so I'll write you later. Thanks again.

Joey

Dear Bob and Charlette

Art and I have been having the best time with Stretch.  He is funny, smart, strong minded and he rules the house already. Yet he is so loveable everything I wanted in a dog.  I cann't tell you how happy we are with him. He sleeps in his crate at night never makes a peep.  He has an appointment next week with the Vet.  I am sure he will do great.  Talk to your soon.  Stephanie

Hi Bob and Char,

Day 1:

 Geordi already knows his name.

No accdents inside the house!

He comes when I call his name.

Best of all, he can already fetch and bring back the toy!

You are the best breeders!

He chases Ginger but she is coming around!

What a  great and smart puppy!

Hi Bob and Char,

Geordi went to the vet today.  He received a very clean bill of health.  Ears were good, eyes are good, teeth are good, testacles have descended so neutering is not a problem.  He goes back in 4 weeks for another booster and then another 4 weeks for rabies.  We are not deworming him since I took a fecal sample.  We will wait to see what that shows.

Geordi is unbelievably intelligent.  He already comes when I call him.  He is housebroken.  He plays with Ginger already.  She has accepted him.  He does not bark and he is a hugger, lover.

I am going to send you new picutures because I'm not sure if he's a wire haired or a boar.

He weighed close to 4 lbs.  He is a great eater, drinks his water and plays footballl with Ginger already.

I am so pleased.  I thought that I was going to have to leave him at the vet since everyone could hold him and hug him.  He didn't cry or get nervous.

What a great dog!  I love him and so does Ginger.  Happy Holidays.  Use whatever you want as a letter of recommendation.  Photos to follow.   I think that he's a boar but not sure.

Hello Bob and Charlotte,
We are doing great, Elsa and frankie became fast friends. They are so adorable.
We love them so much. frankie is very, very popular here in Brooklyn.
He is so friendly and loves to kiss everyone!
Elsa loves her brother. We are very happy with these pups.

People always comment on their coats and personality. Elsa is such a good girl.
She is a very good listener, and knows her commands.
Frankie is in puppy kindergarten. He makes friends wherever he goes.
Ed thinks Frankie will be a good therapy dog.

I have sent recent photos, your new website looks great!

Hi Bob and Charlotte,

First of all we would like to thank you for your help, and answering our questions about our new puppy Kelly.  The Vet check and care you gave to your puppies showed.

Mary Kay and I would like to let you know how much fun and pleasure Kelly brings to us.  She is a very smart quick learner, strong willed at times.

Kelly has a great personality and attracts every bodies attention.  She is a spirited healthy dog.   She has great color and features.
Kelly is wonderful watch dog that lets us know immediately with her bark something is different, whether it be sound, strangers or animals.

Kelly is a very happy, loving dog and we love having her.  Everybody that knows her wants to take her home.  Thanks for raising such great puppies.

Sincerely ,

Hi Bob and Charlotte!  I just wanted to let you know that Mr. Briggs has adjusted very well to life with us!  He curls up in your lap and falls asleep.  He is very playful, loves to chase his tail and jumps on his shadow!  Briggs is eating very well and drinking too.  I know sometimes when you bring a pet home, at first they don't eat or drink.  Not Briggs, we were home about a 1/2 hr. and he went over to where his food and water are.  We just showed him the one time when we got home and he found his way to it!  You are right, he is very smart.  If you say come here Briggs, he comes to you!  A few accidents in the house, but for the majority, he has been going outside.  He doesn't cry at night, the kids have been sleeping with him.  Friday night we were up twice thru the night and only one time last night.  It won't be long and he will be sleeping thru the night!  Again thank you so much for our wonderful, adorable, lovable and already spoiled puppy!  I will send pictures soon!

Talk to you soon,
Julie

Hello!
I was just letting you know that my parents are absolutely in love with Rosco--how he looks, his attitude/personality, everything!  In fact, they are so impressed with how he looks that they want your next black and tan wire hair female, no matter how long it takes for you to get one!  Let me know what you think.

Dear Bob and Charlotte,
Well, we are home with Zoë, and she is such a joy! Her socialization is wonderful. She was brought home (at my sister in laws) to a black lab and 2 cats, and Zoë wags her tail crazily and jumps and runs after them to play. She already knows her name, and come. I just can't believe home smart she is! All attributed to the love, care and wonderful breeding you have provided. In fact, my sister in law and her family have been so impressed with Zoë and how well adjusted she is, they are talking about getting one themselves, but only from you. I will highly recommend anyone thinking about a doxie to see no one but you. I am also sure, when we are ready to get Zoë a play mate, we will be coming back to see you!

Thank you so much for our wonderful new family member!!! We'll keep in touch!

Hello:
Just wanted to let you know that Roxxi passed with flying colors at her vet exam.
We also wanted to let you know that loves her new home and family!  We love her too!
The first day or so, she was a little timid.  But after that she figured out that we just melt when we see her, so she is the Queen of the Castle.
We are crate training her and she is doing very well.  At this point, she has not had an "accident" in the house for about 2 days!  So we are very proud of her.
Here is a picture of Roxxi with Sophie and Jacob.  Thank you again, We are sooooooooooo happy.

Dear Bob and Charlotte,

Just a note to tell you that Miss Bitsy has made a place for herself in the grand scheme of things here. She is one of the gang! Poor Julio! She has made him her personal chew toy. She has him jumping all around.....she's like a little crocodile with those sharp milk teeth! She is so funny, running and racing until she drops and off to sleep she goes. She has already mastered getting up 2 steps so far into the house. Even the cats have accepted her.....we are just waitiing for the day that she goes up to Smokey and chomps down on his tail.

We will send pictures soon. Thanks again for allowing us t o add her to our family!

Hi,
What can we say about Fritz. He is cute, adorable, curious, funny and
smart!!!! He has already taken over the house.
We are so impressed how quickly Fritz has trained which we can only
attribute to the way he had been taken care of before he came to us.
Thank you for all your correspondences and pictures. We felt like we
already knew Fritz before Rich picked him up.
We'll send you pictures of Fritz once Rich figures out how to transfer
the pictures from my new digital camera to the computer.
Please use our name if you need a reference.

Hi Bob & Char...
Just wanted you to know how Spike was doing. He's almost 4 months old now. These pictures were taken today while we were playing "tag" around the house. Spike is a good little boy. He's 7 lbs now and in perfect condition. Only one shot to go and then neutering in August. He sleeps through the night in his crate in the kitchen, but LOVES to join us in bed after he does his business. He hasn't messed in the house for several weeks now and goes to the door and whines when he has to go. We love him a lot! You guys do a great job preparing these pups for homes. I recommned you to everyone who asks about Spike - and everyone asks about Spike. He is great with everyone - especially kids. Thanks a bunch. I'll keep you posted.

Dear Bob & Char,

Just wanted to send you an update on Kosher. He is the most wonderful
puppy we have ever come in contact with. He is so friendly with
everyone he meets and is always willing to give kisses!! He loves
kids and they love him. He is fearless with large dogs and in fact
thinks he is a 125 lb Rottwieler. He brings out the best in all the
dogs he comes in contact with and always makes us smile. Thank you so
much for your hospitality and frequent updates. You breed
extraordinary dogs and we are considering getting Kosher a companion.
It was well worth the 6 hour drive for our new family member.

Feel free to pass this message on to any future "parents" along with
our email for a reference.

Thanks again!

Hello Bob and Char-

It is Meg and Steve Roberts. We purchased Roger in December of last year from you.  I just wanted to let you know how happy we are that we have roger in out lives. He has been a great addition to our "family".  He is so full spunk and such a loverdog!  He talks and sits on his hind legs all of the time - it is the funniest thing!

He gets along well with his brother Oscar (yorkie) and they have a blast together. Everywhere we go people comment on him and they just think he is the cutest thing.  He thinks he is a doberman though sometimes not a little guy like he is :)

We just wante dto take the time to say THANK YOU! We would recommend anyone to your kennel. It has been a woderful past year with our new guy and we look forward to every new day with with him.

Sincerely - Meg and Steve Roberts

P.S. We didn't see our pic on the website from the day we picked up Roger :(

 Hi Bob,

I just wanted to send you a quick email and let you know Daisy is  doing great. She cried a lot the first night but last night was a  little better. It's hard not to spoil her. She's getting more  comfortable and plays with all her toys. My cats are still growling  at her but they're starting to get over it. Here's a picture. I'll be  sending a letter of recommendation soon.

Thanks for everything,

We'll be in touch,

Jack

Hi,

You have a terrific website. If it's okay with you, I'll put my
reference letter in this email. Then please feel free to do whatever
you like with it :) .

"Dear Bob and Char,

I feel privileged to have received a most wonderful puppy. His name is
Beauregard Schuldig. This is the first time that I've had a carefully
bred dog. The difference is obvious. His health is perfect, his coat
is shiny. His temperament is sweetness itself. I couldn't ask for
more. I feel like I have welcomed the most generous friend imaginable
into my life. Thank you for being such careful and skillful breeders!

Thank you for breeding our good little Schuldig!

Hi Bob & Charlotte,
I am sorry it has taken so long for us to write, but we wanted to let you know what a pleasure it has been having Cinnamon join our family.  She is a good girl who loves to please and is very affectionate to everyone.  We can't walk three feet in our neighborhood withouut people asking to say hello or comment how cute she is.  When we visited Dachshund Day in Washington Square Park (Manhattan, NY), we were repeatedly told that she was the cutest dog there and that was a quite an accomplishment.  I've enclosed a family picture from that day with our 9 year old dachshund Jake who is adjusting to having a sister very nicely.  We proudly tell everyone who asks to visit your website.  Thanks again for our beautiful little girl.
All the best,
John Rowan, Judy Klein, Jake and Cinnamon

Hello Bob and Charlotte,

I am writing to give you an update on Sasha.  Needless to say she is a dream come true.  she is loving, smart, outgoing, affectionate, sweet, and funny.  She is adjusting very well, and has taken ownership of the couch.  She loves to nap, but also loves to play.  I have been home from work and we have been bonding, she follows me everywhere and the other day I went upstairs without her and she let out a little bark and struggled up all the way.  Sasha is very determined and a quick learner.

I am very happy and so is my family everyone that comes in contact with her falls in love at first sight.  The word everybody uses to describe her is "Precious".  I took her to meet my co-workers and they were all just gushing over her I felt like some kind of celebrity everywhere I go people stop me just to see the cute puppy.  She also knows how to win over people with those big eyes and kisses on the face.  Sasha is not at all shy she will go right up to visitors and lick them all up.  As I sit here typing she is asleep at my foot,

I just wanted to thank you both for helping bring such a wonderful puppy into our lives, I never thought I could love a pet as much as I do my Sasha.  I will send pictures soon she is growing everyday.  Once again, Thank You!

Dear Bob & Charlotte

We want to tell you how much we are enjoying our new puppy (Ginger). She is a very happy,

loving puppy, full of energy, and also a very healthy puppy. Ginger gives us hours of fun, and she gets along very well with our other dog (Molly) and our two cats.

Ginger is learning to be house broken and she is catching on quickly.

I would highly recommend your kennel to anyone looking for a smart, healthy miniture dachshund puppy.

Sincerely

Bob and Char...

Just a quick note to let you know how much we love Chester, our new little
Doxie that we got from you last April.
His first birthday is coming up soon.
(March 1) He's almost fully house-trained. (Just an occasional accident.
No big
deal.) He's VERY playful and just loves chewing on all the doggie toys we buy
for him! Our 6-year-old grandson loves playing with Chester, too.

We have had our puppy Edwin for two months now. Our family is in love with him. He is such a snuggler! He is not having any accidents in his living space any longer...yippee! Bob, thank you for the advice. We are very pleased with our puppy. He is very affectionate towards our four young daughters. He has been a great addition to our family. Thank you, and have wonderful Christmas! P.S. My husband loves having another male in the house!

Hi Bob & Charlotte!!

Just wanted to let you know that Enzo is doing great here!  He and Oscar are getting along just fine -

Oscar was a bit timid at first but is now ready and waiting for Enzo to come and play.  Oscar even goes to check on Enzo when he is taking a nap.

We are all pleasantly surprised that Oscar is being so gentle with the puppy, and even a bit protective of him.

We went for a walk on the leash today, and did quite well.  And there's only been 3 accidents in the house!

With all the rain on Saturday, the poor little guy refused to go on the grass - he used the garage instead (and I don't blame him one bit!)

He even sleeps good at night, no crying at all - only when he wakes up in order to let me know he needs to go outside (so smart!!)

I have attached a few pictures from this weekend.  I will send more updates later on, after we get in to visit the vet.

Thanks for raising such a wonderful puppy!!!

 Hello Bob and Char,

We got our mini doxie, Copper from you about 1 1/2 years ago.

My daughter sent you an e-mail to let you know what a great dog he is, but for some reason,

I never have.I wanted to let you know, whatever you folks do, please keep on doing it!

Copper is such a fantastic dog.  He is loving, smart, funny, energetic and so friendly.
So many people we come across that are familiar with Dachshunds cannot believe how friendly Copper is.
Many have stories about Doxies that are kind of nasty.  I could not see Copper ever being that way.
I am so happy we got Copper from you.  If I can talk my wife into it , someday I would like to get another Doxie from you.
Thanks again for taking raising such wonderful dogs,
Sincerely,
Chris Codner

Dear Bob and Charlotte,
We just wanted to tell you how wonderful Pepperoni is! He is the sweetest little dog! We are having so much fun with him. He has such a cute personality.
Please feel free to use us as a reference. We were impressed with your care of the puppies and knowledge of the breed. We also wanted you to know that the Vet said that Pepperoni is perfect.
    Thanks again for everything!

Sincerely,
Ed, Laurie and Signe Golash
